Pastels and Ponytails

So here's yesterday's OOTD, I created it around this beautiful Matalan top. The tropical prints are so summery and the colours are beautiful. The material feels super expensive and the buttons down the back also look very expensive.

I picked colours from the top to piece together the rest of the outfit. These cute pastel elasticated jeans are from Dorethy Perkins. The denim jacket and sweet pastel pink bag are both from Primark.

The shoes are from Topshop they're a pastel pink crocodile texture. My nails are painted with Avon nail wear pro. I've been loving wearing my extensions up in a ponytail at the moment it's great to get my hair off my face in both the sun and windy conditions we're having in the UK at the movement.

Hope you all liked this outfit I had so much fun piecing it together and I'm loving these summery colours!

Mask Of Magnaminity - The Holy Grail

This is a product that Lush has had out for a while but I think it's passed by quite easily instore. Sure it doesn't look too appealing to smear all over your face as it's bright green and lumpy but this product seriously is the holy grail.

It's brilliant and it's completely cleared up my skin. It reduces blemishes in hours and makes my skin feel so incredibly fresh and smooth. I think today we get tricked into applying all sorts of chemicals to try and help improve our skin but surely something natural is so much better. This face mask includes honey, beans, evening primrose and lots of peppermint. It makes my face feel so much better than when I used to apply products such as clean and clear etc as it doesn't make my skin feel dry or drained at all.

I feel like I'm doing my skin a favour when I apply this. I really really really recommend it to both teenagers and adults, it will really sort you out. I can't stress enough what a miracle product this is I apply nearly everyday! You need this on your life!

Hope this helps!

Top Toners!

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well! I'm just back from holiday and the sun has turned my blonde hair rather brassy so today's post (if you haven't already guessed) is on my Top Toners!

Blondes really do have a hard time when it comes to maintaining hair colour as well as health and banishing brassiness. I hope that this post helps all you blondes out there.

1.First is the Lee Stafford Hot Shot 4 Blondes Shampoo Treatment. This product isn't the standard blonde shampoo it's actually a treatment. The packet contains 3 'Hot Shots' which you use over time depending on how ashy you want your hair to look. I used to use these when my hair was almost all bleach blonde and I dyed it purple or pink afterwards. They are a high strength product which is why the packaging says to only leave them on for 2 mins. Would I advice this? No with all toners I think you need to leave them on for at least 5 mins to get a result but it's trial and correction. You need to test how your hair will take on toners and it will take a couple of times to get a good idea on how your hair works. Also I'd just like to say that toners are the weakest form of dye so if you do go a little overboard and end up with a purple tint to your hair this will wash out in less than a week. Now this product is a true purple and will give you a true purple tint if you like. It turns brassy blonde hair to white shades. The product also has a warming sensation which can make your head feel a little itchy but I guess that's just how it works. The only downside about this product is that it costs £7.49 at Boots which I think is a little overpriced for such a tiny amount.

2. Secondly I'd like to talk about everyone's favorite Touch of Silver Silver Shine Shampoo Weekly Treatment - bit of a mouthful. Everyone knows that this toner works. It does what it days. For those who don't know this toner has a bluey undertone although it comes out silver. I'd recommend you to start off with a small about for a short amount of time say 5 mins and build up gradually that way you'll be able to see how your hair reacts. This toner really does banish brassiness and it always makes my hair feel so sleek, smooth and shiny. I wouldn't recommend you use this more than 3 times a week as it does start to make the scalp feel a little itchy - trust me I know. But with a price tag of around £3 you can't go wrong. I'd really recommend this toner to first time blondes or anyone with ombre hair!

3. Thirdly is my current favorite - Daddy-O toner from Lush. Now this isn't because it works any better than previously mentioned products it's actually because this product has more of a red - purple/ pink undertone compared to the Touch of Silver. I'm preferring this undertone at the moment because it helps me match my hair to my recently purchased Foxy Locks extensions in Latte. The smell of this product is amazing and fresh and even when my boyfriend and sister have used it on their brown hair it's made their hair look a lot more shiny and healthy. The only thing you need to be cautious about is the strength of this product, you only need a tiny bit. Also do not use this product on extensions it tends to turn them pink over time. Price differs depending on how much you would like to buy but I'd recommend the 250g bottle for £10.75 sure it's a little pricey but a little goes a long way. I wouldn't recommend the large bottle unless you're maintaining pink or purple dyed hair as Lush products tend to expire sooner than other products on the high street as they consist of more natural ingredients.

I hope this has been helpful!

Summer Shoes!

Today's post is on four pairs of shoes I've picked up in the past couple of weeks looking forward to summer and holidays.

This first pair is from New Look they're a smart casual sandal which I think can be dressed up or down. They have the 'slider' feel to them which have become really popular recently in shops such as Topshop. I love the chunky white straps which are so comfy and stable. They were £15.99.

The second pair is from Primark for around £6. I love the ethnic beading and for Primark they're pretty well made. The colours are beautiful especially in the sun and neutral so they'll go with a lot of my outfits and bags!

This third pair are also from Primark and they're Jelly shoes! Never did I ever think I'd be wearing another pair of Jelly shoes but when I tried them on they're so comfy and they were only £4. I don't think I'll be wearing them down the street anytime soon because I really couldn't pull that off but I think they'll be great for going in the sea on holiday and on the beach. They're so sparkly, gold and tacky I love them!

The last pair are from Accessorize and they're brilliant. I call them my Tangled sandals because of the gold flowery braiding and cute little embellishments. They are £15 online but I'm sure they cost more they might have been reduced though. The soles feel a little flimsy but hopefully they'll last. Also I had to size up. I'm a size 6 but the size 5-6 were too small so I had to change them for size 6.5-8 which surprisingly fit so well. They're super girly and cute.

Hope this has been useful for all you shoe shoppers!

The Perfect Strapless Bra

So today's post is a little bit different it's on the perfect strapless bra. I've been looking for a sturdy strapless bra to wear with several new items I've purchased. I wanted something of good quality - don't get me wrong I buy bras from New Look and Primark - but I was looking for a real investment bra. So I tried underwear famous M&S, they had strapless bras but I needed a little bit of extra padding - not a huge amount 'enhanced by 2 sizes' but just a little boost however they didn't have anything like this. I also wanted a smooth bra front as patterned bras show through tight clothing.

So here's what I found a DKNY bra from TKMaxx. Now I know this won't be available to everyone as TKMaxx stock different bras in different shops however I do think it's a good place to look for a high quality bra.

The bra is smooth and white but also very pretty with a little bit of lace on the side and a tiny frill which makes it look so pretty. It also has a moulded inside to help boost which is only slight.

The straps are multiway as well as strapless so it will have lots of uses.

And so the bra doesn't slip down, a girls worst nightmare, the back panel had two pieces of thick elastic the sort you'd find in a waist band. Also it has sticky rubber lines to keep the bras placement secure as shown below.

Overall I think this is a great bra for a great price £9.99. I'd really recommend it to anyone who's looking to invest in a great comfy bra or needs one for an upcoming event i.e. Prom.

Sorry I've been away from my blog for a few weeks now I've been finishing my first year of uni and started a new job.

Hope you've found this blog useful, comment if you have anymore questions!

Another Bikini!

So I promise this will be my last bikini purchase before my holiday in a couple of weeks... I really couldn't resist!

This bikini is from H&M the top and bottom cost £3.99 each but can we just talk about this gorgeous lepord print?! It's such a beautiful colour, darker than the normal leopard print but the colours really compliment a tan. Lepord print has been known to be 'tacky' but it's got to be one of my favourite prints especially this one as it's a little bit different. The top style is strapless bandea but they do include a strap to turn it into a halter neck. I would size up in the top. I'm a 34C and sized up to a 12. The bottoms are just standard tied at the side but are super comfy. If you're not loving the style though they also do a balcony bra style top which would offer a lot more support and would be better for bigger boobs and they also do high waisted bikini bottoms for that 60's style! Personally I prefer these two together but you can mix and match which ever. I think this bikini and the lilac one in my previous post are definitely my favourites. You should really check out H&Ms swimwear collections! Hopefully my obsession with buying bikinis will stop soon!

Hope you enjoyed this post.
